Personal statement

I am a PhD student at the NAOME Department of the University of Strathclyde. My area of interest and expertise is the design and analysis of marine vehicles and offshore structures.

My current research focuses on the development of a multidisciplinary design, analysis and optimisation framework for floating offshore wind turbine support structures, capable of capturing the behaviour of all subsystems and their interactions among themselves and with the environment, in order to identify innovative configurations, potentially leading to the definition of cheaper, more sustainable support platforms.
